quite a lot of requirements for them right? Just the right amount of humidity and other things. They are really, really nice looking though. _________________ God does not play at dice AE
Used to keep them... Tall cages, high humidity with proper ventilation... I would pick one up from LLL Reptile in Oceanside, they have the best prices... _________________ Reptile Rescue Orange County

I had dreams of breeding the blue morphs after I retired...
I have a friend in Pennsylvania who breeds green and yellow ones. _________________ "Tarantulas are friends, not food" (but I bet they taste pretty good with butter and lemon!)
The only major downside to keeping them is that they're bones are very fragile. Many people have lost them due to broken necks because they strike at there prey to hard, or the strike at someone walking by the set-up.
I had one a few years back, before people got really serious about them. You can get ones now from different localities/islands that are pretty pricey. It is considered a "advanced" herp to most people but, you keep pretty good care of your animals, I think it is a species you will have no problem with. I was at LLL Oceanside Saturday and it looked like they had a few like Matt said.
Check out Emerald Boas too, if you like the look of Green Trees.
Wait 'til the reptile super show if you want one -- there'll be a huge assortment at great prices. _________________ "Tarantulas are friends, not food" (but I bet they taste pretty good with butter and lemon!)
