Pablo, my MM B. smithi, is back home and officially retired!!

i sent Pablo to Maren (Varden) on 8/28 and she bred him multiple times, with good inserts, to one of her females. Her other female obviously has problems because she rejected my most gorgeous boy!! Shocked ::lol::

He was supposed to go to Ryan after that. However, the day he was to be shipped from Maren to Ryan he found a MM to buy outright. i can't blame him really. There was a third party wanting to use him as well but i did not know them so i declined. This particular T is really more of a pet. Call me crazy! i just wanted him home ASAP.

He's back and looks GREAT! He got a bald butt while he was gone and he isn't even much of a hair kicker but i imagine its pretty stressful being shipped back and forth and moved around so much for several matings as well as attempts. i did a complete overhaul on his house while he was gone. Everything is new except the old log he came with and has had for literally years. It is really great to have him back.

i'm sure everyone in SCABIES is smithi'd out for some time. However, maybe we could use them against a trade for a future deal if i get lucky enough and Maren gets a successful sac.

While i say Pablo is 'retired', i'm not sending him out again. If it was any other T i wouldn't care. However, i've have had my eyes on the look out for any female B. smithi's of breeding size for a while now. Problem is they can take literally nearly a year to drop a sac so you really have to breed them soon after a molt. i haven't had any luck finding a female B. smithi that anyone has a clue when it molted last which certainly isn't recent enough. If anyone has any leads i would be very interested. It is also REALLY hard to trust a lot of people out there unfortunately so if it is somebody you have dealt with before that is an extra plus. i'll post this is the sale section too! However, i wouldn't mind having the opportunity to try and breed Pablo if i can find just the right female, that i can afford, in the next couple of months.

Thanks guys!!! i'll keep you posted if Pablo is a dad and SCABIES is in the smithi business!!! Very Happy

[slightly editted your title, caco]
