Filistatidae vs Agelenidae (webs)


I had the pleasure of finding this somewhat striking setup when walking horse trails with my brother. The diameter of the holes is pretty close to ~1/2" - 2cm.

Wow!!!

Do you know the ~ height at which each of the webs was placed off the ground?

Were the inhabitants home at the same time?

both webs were just inches off the ground


i didn't see either spider from those webs


i did open up a similar sized Fili web and found a Kuk that was over 1"BL
