Kermit the GBB is looking for her soul mate.
Does any one have a male that I can buy or loan? I hate to do the loan for fear of losing the male. However, Kermit is a pretty easy going GBB.
I am pretty easy to work with. Even if I purchase, I will still give you slings. I am just doing this for a few babies for me and for a breeding project.
Let me know if you are interested.
I can bring her to the next BBQ if you have a male.

Still searching:
Anyone have a MM Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens Greenbottle for sale for my lovely, freshly molted lady "Kermit?"
She promises to be nice and not eat her man.
I will do a 50/50.
I do not use Arachnoboards but if you know someone there that is reputable, let me know. I do not really know anyone and I am not very trusting except for a few people that I have dealt with already.
It kind of sucks to be new but I too am leary about dealing with people I don't know. I've only been taken once and that was with the SCABIES deal with Sean from Old World Spiders from over a year ago. If I see something I really want and the seller is willing to jump through hoops from me; I have taken my chances with a few new people this year and feel it definitely paid off. Now I also have a few new sellers I would definitely buy from again. _________________ Jules
The bonus in a 50/50 and you have the female is usually they send you the male so ya really cant get burned cuz if they send it you have what you need and if they dont then nothing lost... _________________ “Look down at me and you see a fool;

Yeah, but she's not as likely to find a GBB male in a 50/50 compared to most other T species. I don't think I'd loan out a MM GBB because of the extra risks those girls seem to bring! That's why I bought a couple GBB slings to raise up in hopes that at least one is a male. I don't want to buy my girl $100 meal!
Those 2 immature males looked like they were a decent price for their size. Of course, its a bit of a crap shoot whether their maturing molt will be a good time for the female. However, at my house it seems like most all of my big T's molt within about the same 2 months. Either way, I'm sure one could get their money back if their female wasn't ready and they just sold the MM. _________________ Jules
Thanks Kyle. I will check into this. Unfortunately, my Irminia is still small.
Yea, it is a crap shoot. I also have been told by experience people that even if you breed, the egg sacks can be a crap shoot as well. They are hardy as adults but difficult to raise.
Thanks for your help everyone. I will look into my options and make some contacts with people.

Yes, I have heard the same. All things considered, GBB's are pretty inexpensive slings to buy because they sure aren't easy to breed and it isn't like you get 1500 in a sac when you do get lucky.
