Hey this is funny, I don;t quite condone the way they present it as it can lead to other people attempting to recreate what they see (allergic reactions, not knowing of the species is MS and others), BUT, at least they are showing through a NATIONAL TV STATION, that a Tarantula bite is not life threatening.

Here ya go:

Yeah, if you're going to take a hit, don't choose an old world T. I remember reading a bite report regarding a Cobalt Blue and the person was curled in the fetal position crying like a baby.

i'm always tempted to take tara bites when i read those really over the top bite reports

the difference in a bad centipede bite between when i am freaking out and when i am zen is almost unbelievable.... when you freak out i think you make like, positive feedback loops that increase your calamity chemicals and sensitivity and make you more nervous

I would regard such a person with deep suspicion...Now what sort of man or woman or monster would stroke a centipede on its underbelly "And here is my big good centipede." If such a man exists, I say kill him without more ado. He is a traitor to the human race.

From his replies he mentions:

'Pain at the bite site, arm and back during the first couple of days', then, two days later, testicular cramps that feel like "shocks".
