Couple of quick questions and i think i will be set!
1: The Ivory Millies i just got all have white legs, and the two that i already had, and the others i ahve seen have black legs, is this just an age thing?
2: The enclosure for each of these species is about 9" x 12", with 2" of peat moss, with dried oak leaves mixed in, topped with about 2" of spongeum moss to hold in humidity.
I realized upon seeing these little critters, that there is a good possibility that i will not see them for a number of months at their size! Are the enclosures "too big"? will they have a hard time finding the food bowls? Also should i keep the moss on top, or should i just remove it so that i can see the critters much easier?
HEllo
Yes enclosures are way too big, have a smaller enclosure inside the permanet enclosure so you can control the temp/hum and be constant all the time.
It also makes it easier for them to find food, living in a small container.
