It is a soil centipede similar ro the ones we have here, but this guy is LONG, I would say more than 5 "

Gotta tell you the Scolopendra hermosa really is a true beauty. Those segments by the head are really something, and that little yellow "crown" is very nice.
Rhysida celeris andina reminds me of Robocop for some reason... maybe the color it looks like on the photo... or is it metallic gray?

Wow!  I just saw the picture of the Paraotostigmus with eggs!  I didn't know the female centipedes guarded their eggs like that!  Very cool!

Great species! Crazy that you got a soil pede from down there!  It will be interesting to see how long that one lives in captivity. ...wanna recommend very closed off container...almost no(very slow) air exchange.  ...but then again...who the heck knows what something like that really needs.  ??
