As I was scrolling down, it kept getting more and more awesome...!

Very beautiful!

I have had a succession of Siamese Fighting Fish in a fishbowl in my kitchen window for the past 12 years...  They have the coolest personalities, and are fearless, curious, and very interactive.  They are one of the few fish that can turn their heads, which makes them seem that much more intelligent to me...

yeah, its a giant traditional show plakat. i raised him from .25 inch to 3.5 inches. i got him from a breeder and friend in Florida. He was my most beloved fish.. R.I.P buddy. I got it in memory of him Smile

They are very intelligent but bowls aren't the best way to keep them. All mine are currently in 5 gallons or higher. Its just to hard for me to heat so many small containers during the winter, and it cuts tank maintenance down a ton.

Awww...  (sniff, sniff)  That's so touching!  Did he have a name?  I just always called mine "Fishie" or "Fish-fish".  (Hey, they always answered to it!)  ;-)

How many do you have currently?

I heard there are some fighting rings for Betas, imported from the Siam over there in Bakersfield and they bet up to 1000 dollars in these events.

I have a friend who is into the top fighters and he breeds them too outside his house in Westminister, he gave a couple of them about a year ago, and I could not resist the impulse of fighting them with normal Betas.

Brit let me know when you are getting ready to import some, I might get a couple or more.   Wink

i voted yeah! but the only opinion that matters is yours. This is the T-shirt that you can not change. i saw some art work on a piece of native american pottery that i loved. so i free hand re-drew it and changed one or two things to make the meaning mine. it has been 18 years and i still love it.   happy new tattoo to you!
