I will still be using the calendar on the yahoo groups until something better comes along, so whenever something comes up i'll put a brief description and a link to the calendar.

there is definitely a way to tie in a calendar type of program into this forum... it will just take me a while to research how to do it and what program is best suited to our needs
but the yahoo one works pretty good... and i will probably eventually be able to stick it in a frame on the site to make it look a little more streamlined and slick
there is a pretty crazy amount to research about the myfreeforum software capabilites
(and yes, nesh, i haven't forgotten about getting more smilies)
