Ok so I want to either purchase cheap a possible 22X12X15 acrylic/plastic enclosure or I can make one from scratch.  Does anyone know where I can buy cheap acrylic/plastic to build one myself?  I tried home depot they didn't have any, Lowes has but they are $15.00 for a 24"X12" sheet, I will need 6 sheets.  Please let me know, thanks guys.

Dang that sounds a little bit to much to me.

Try a local plastic specialty store.

You can try CR Laurence, google them. Another good source is Jet Plastics.
CR Laurence has really good pricing, and all the accessories necessary to build anything out of acrylic, plexi or glass (which i prefer over acrylic).
If they do not have what you need they can point you in the right direction. They know nothing of "how to build an enclosure" but if you keep it technical and explain to them the project they may be able to help you out.


Oh, pricing, they have good pricing,may not look so good if you are buying 4 pieces only, but in the long run and by quantity these guys are probably the best out there.

Good luck and show us pics of how your project is going, you might just get some orders from members Wink
