There may be people who like centipedes. I have seen people handling tarantulas and scorpions, but never a centipede handler. I would regard such a person with deep suspicion...Now what sort of man or woman or monster would stroke a centipede on its underbelly "And here is my big good centipede." If such a man exists, I say kill him without more ado. He is a traitor to the human race.

I've just read it and so far it seems to be something that still needs some working on before they can make it 100 % effective.

The idea still isn't bad though. They use the same alarm pheromones that those bed bugs produce + some kind of dust used to kill off the bugs.

The dust was probably being used already  by people but was not as effective cuz the bugs have to pass through the dust to get affected by it and die.  The pheromones are used to make them panic a little more and move around to increase their chance of passing through the dust and get killed.

The pheromones are normaly used by the bugs themselves as an alarm system.

So far thats what i understand from that article you  posted Smile
