Argiope blanda

anyone know anything about this species?

"A very similar species [to A. argentata] is Argiope blanda. Females of the two species may be difficult to separate by color pattern. Reference to the genitalia is necessary to distinguish the species."

Cool! In one of my books that mentions these the one in the photo is very different then this one. More "silver" then any other color and it was a female. So I guess the color can vary between the 2 species?

Would like to know. Never came across any Argiope sp. in person.
