There should be an option for "Any of them work for me" It's the usual deal with me, I don't care when it is, so long as I know at least 2 weeks ahead of time to ask for the day off.

I agree, im in SFV and its hard to drive that far during the day. I vote for the next BBQ being more tto the west. |

Yeah I am in anaheim area it would be better if we had one closer this way. if i had a house i would host one. i vote closer to LA next time. | ||

What we neeeeeed is one down here. I have a house now with a yard, and it even has a toilet. Oh, and it isn't 10 billion degrees in the backyard. All I need is a day off once in a while now.... |

Kyle and I make it up to L. A. for events. I don't see the difference. He drives further than I do ::lol::. I've driven almost that for non bug related daytrips and the occasional protest alone (by myself). You could always crash I suppose too. (adults only party after dusk????) |

Its about a 3 hour drive for each of us then. Im about a 2-3 hours north of the barbeques. Now, tack that 2-3 hours on to the time it takes to get from LA to san diego.
It wouldn't be such a problem for those people south of the mountain, but 5 hours each way would make for one long day. |

they *usually* start around 11 am and run until about 5 pm (plus or minus), unless the host specifies otherwise. (The host gets to make the rules). But obviously you don't have to be there that entire time -- you can drop in any time and leave any time as long as you don't get there much earlier than 11 am or leave much later than 5 pm... ish... plus or minus. (EDIT: Time for this BBQ is 1pm-7pm) Oh, but there's usually a raffle and doorprizes, and those are not usually drawn until late (like maybe after 4 pm), so if you want to be in on those, you have to stick around. Also, it's not mandatory, but people are usually requested to bring donations for the raffle. The money is used to support the site. Donations can be bugs, supplies, etc. -- pretty much anything cool that someone else might want. |

I don't have any pictures of the human atendees, but I do have some pictures of the scorps, tarantulas, & food that my mom took. If you guys would like those, I'd be happy to post them!
