Bug hunt any one?Any one who is willing to drive up near Bakersfield, is welcome to come up and hunt the 20 acres of land my grandparents have. its to cold rite now but i was thinking of having a get together up there when it gets warmer for any one who is interested.
We catch local Ts, millipedes, centipedes, scorps and some Kukulcania Hibernalis.
I wanted to get this up early because its a pretty far ways up north from some o you, So if you do want to go you have plenty of time to plan.

Just to clarify, its 20 acres of foothill scrubland. Plenty of critters out there if you know where to look.

exact date is up in the air at this point. just sometime during the warmer part of the spring and summer.

not summer, it gets tooo hot. im thinking early-mid spring when the critters are just coming out

Just to be pedantic... it is K. arizonica, not hibernalis(and binomial names only have the genus capitalized).

I'll try to make it, but can't say for sure until there is definitive date...
and mid spring would be a better idea than summer!

I never can remember if it's K. hibernalis or arizonica. ::lol:: I'd have to check again.

sweet,m its warming up a bit up here, though with the recent storms, there's slim pickings at the moment.hopefully in about a month or two it will be warm enough .
