Building code ..OC/Tustin...Anyone in construction or whatnot and/or have knowledge/documents regarding building code within OC (city of tustin proper )?? Specifically regarding insulation/firebarrier requirements within an industrial non-living space. ?

...international but Cool thanks for lookin. I FINALLY got a hold of someone in the know actually at Tustins building code department.
Funny conundrum ..it will be physically impossible to meet REQUIRED MINIMUM R rating in the situation i have because of the cheap arse way they built stuff down that way. In order to meet code and be technically approved (important for insurance reasons ..and selling for that matter) by the cities building department i can just NOT insulate or invest tons of cash/time in construction ...the only logical in-between is by applying for special circumstances and that means jumpin thru hoops of paperwork and paying for city inspection and approval.  Government TRIES to do the right thing yet there always seems to be someone like me in a no win situation because of it.
