Bulk Fish FoodI bought some fish food for my new hissers. I am thinking about adding it to the regular diet of my dubia as well. However, my dubia colony is doing really well and they eat a ton! I was wondering if anyone had a good source for buying larger quantities of flaked fish food at a good price.
Thanks!

Thanks Francisco! That is exactly what I was looking for. The largest I could find at petco was 12 or 13 oz and it was $18.

I was looking online a bit and so far this is the only reasonably priced food I came across. I didn't look into shipping cost yet as I'm still hoping for a more local option.

Just doing a quick test order the shipping to Long Beach (he uses UPS) is $8.33 for the 1/2LB up to $10.18 for the 5LB.

Fish food are pretty pricey in general, even in bulk. I think the ingredient are geared toward enhancing color for aquarium fish. Koi food is even more expensive.
A few guys on AB are using game fish chow by purina to feed their bugs, but I have trouble locating a dealer/supplier locally (who has a fish pond with bluegills and trouts in his backyard in LA county?). I was told it should be less than $20 for a bag of 50 lbs.

Non medicated chicken mash feed was also suggested to me. I was able to locate a feed store in the southbay area that sells it. 25 lbs sells for $10, and 50lbs sells for $18. I am using it now, the roaches seem to dig it.
