I had a request to show people how to build your own snake rack for less than melamine units.. So here it is: the tubs are Sterilite brand (Target stores), the racks themselves are available at Home Depot, and are very easy to assemble.

This is an over veiw of my units in my bedroom: ( The tub sizes are 76 qt. & 110 qt. ),

Here you can see between the smaller tubs (76 qt.) the head pad, two tubs share 1 pad

I hope this can be of help during these times of economic disaster... Ive spent years learning how to do things with herps more efficiently and cost effective. I would not suggest using anyother brand (aside from Sterilite) for these type of units, Ive learned the hard way, it make look like Serilite, but it doesnt keep em in like Sterilite... Not fun waking up to a GB rattler on the sink in your bathroom cause "Rubbermaid" doesnt understand "latching lids" like Sterilite...::lol::

Sunshine, or something like that, you have to make sure it doesnt have "automatic shut off"....

Where are you getting the Sterilite tubs of this size (76 qt and 110 qt.)?

I went to target and Walmart and the largest they have in these type of bins is 70 qt. I love the bins but its unfortunate they are somewhat tall.

The only other kind they had was the long under the bed bins and that is a complete waste of space.

I bought the 70 qts for each of the boys but the big boy (Rajah) needs to be in a 110 qt in my opinion-7 more qts is not going to gain him that much more room in my opinion. As of now, I will have to handle him more often so he gets his exercise Very Happy

Bacardi can stay in the 70 qt for now.

Check a couple Targets, sometimes one store wont have them, but thats where I get them... Matt

also big lots carries what Kmart over stocks. they have had a good selection of some sterilite. only thing when gas was high they disappeared quicker and the price went up.
