Warren brought a big male Madagascar Hissing Roach to the Bug Fair, and I had some of my Tiger Hissers there, and Warren commented that my Tiger Hissers weren't that big. I told him that I had bigger ones at home, it was just that the tank I brought to the Bug Fair didn't have any really big ones in it. Well, here is a picture of probably my biggest one (a male):
(And he's actually not straightened out in that picture -- his abdomen is slightly curved in that picture, making him look a bit shorter than he really is). Can anyone (besides Francisco!) top that?
:-)
(Francisco has both the heaviest and the longest roach species in the world: the Australian Rhino Roaches and the Giant Cave Roaches, respectively).

Hmm -- hard to say. Blaberus giganteus gets up to 4" in length, but that's the wings not the body. Maybe 'Cisco can tell us.
