I used to do that a couple years ago. It's extremely fun. I hit almost all of the ones around in this area of kern county. I even set one up, but never got around to placing it out there anywhere. Now that I got a GPS for christmas, I've been toying around with the idea of doing it again. We should start a scabies one. ::lol::

I wouldn't be able to do this -- GPS devices send out the same kinds of RF signals that cell phones do, and they both give me headaches. (Both devices use signals in the 1-2 GHz frequency band).
I could do it if someone else went with me to check the GPS device and they stood a few meters away from me each time they did it... :-/

volunteers to stay at a minimum 3 meter distance from Celeste while doing this fun activity... ha ha ha
(but be nice or I'll come closer and give you a headache :p )
(Given I don't own a GPS)
Hey Francisco, imaging a nice T as a treasure.

I go geocaching occasionally... When I started I was doing it w/o a GPS, just google earth and a good memory of landmarks.

I think we stumbled on one of these outside the Arizona hotel while doing a trail hunt. Had no idea what it was for and we assumed it was some kind of scavenger hunt the hotel did or something like that.
