I need a fat roachSo Ive never raised a feeder colony of roaches, but I plan to soon. My question is, what kind should I go for? I cant have these things getting out and infesting my sisters house haha, that would be rad but...better well avoided. Is there any kind of feeder roach that cant climb plastic / glass? etc...

Either B dubias or B lateralis will do. They both non-climbers. The dubias are larger slower to breed. The lateralis are smaller, faster, breed pretty quickly if the condition is right. The lateralis are somewhat of escape artists. There are a few threads in here and on AB that have links to care and such.

hmm I think I'll end up with dubia's then, cant risk one getting out. Thanks for the info man!
