ID on Beetle Please

Hello,

Can anyone ID this guy?  He's almost exactly 3", 4.5" if you include the horn (not the legs).  Under most light, he looks much darker black then in the photos

He's just eating peaches and apples right now.  I tossed all my beetle jelly.  I have some total bite cricket food that I'm going to try too.

Hard to say how old he is.  Probably no more then 3 months as an imago.  He was fairly week when I found him, but has really strengthened up since then.  I don't have my records as to how old he was from larval stage.

Hello,

Megasoma genus is notorious to take 3 years to mature so you probably ogt them already as L3s if he is less than a year old with you.

Try some 100% pure Maple syrup and apple. Being a virgin will make live longer.
So how about fighting him with a M elephus???
How big is him?????

Perhaps Next BBBQ??????
