If anyone is looking for....Deathstalker
Androctonus Crassicauda
And one other fat tail that I belive to be an Androctonus species as well (unlabled).
I saw one each of these at Reptile Island in Yorba Linda.

Hey, I have never heard of that store. I'm in Yorba Linda two or three times a week for dog trainig. I will have to check it out!

Here is there address:
3960 Prospect Ave # 5
Yorba Linda, CA 92886
They are kinda hard to find (in some commerical park across from LA Fitness). Their store is fairly clean. I picked up some cool large critter keepers with plastic dividers from there. Relatively small store, but it was cool to see scorps outside of Emperors at a store.

Shame that they got the most venomous scorpions to sell though. I hope they are not selling to minors.

Well, apparently they had them at their other location and the owner moved them to this store because the other store is ran by "a bunch of idiots". They did have your typical Emperor selection as well, but I figured I'd only mentioned the note worthy ones.
And yes, hopefully they are smart enough to only sell them to adults... Hopefully responsible ones a tthat!

Hello,
I talked to the manager and they going to hold them for me.
So lets hope they are
A bicolor
A mauritanicus
or
A crassicaudas.

francisco

Well one of them was labled A. crassicaudas. The other is completely black and by comparing photos on the Scorpion Files it looks like it could be an A. Mauritanicus.
Glad they are holding them for you Francisco.

I just wanted to add that there are two locations: the location in Yorba LInda and in Rancho Cucamonga. The Yorba Linda store is cleaner and seem to have more knowledgable staff. The Rancho store is very dirty and the staff is not so great.

Do they have Ts there as well or just reptiles and scorps? I pass thru Yorba Linda on my way home from visiting family.
