Celeste

Awesome, Kyle!  Those beautiful girls have some good weight on them.  (I love seeing well-fed critters!)

Good luck!
Krawll

Very good and healthy looking spiders. Smile

Does Gravid mean Pregnant with eggs ?? or does it mean she is ready to mate ??

I've always wondered that ::lol::. I guess i wasn't curious enough to ask earlier ::lol::.

It means pregnant with eggs.  These ladies were mated back in July.  The one on the left is getting ready to lay and the one on the right is about a month behind her.

Kyle.

All done!

Celeste

Wow!  That's a big sac!  I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

So... around New Year's?  :-)
Habibi18

That is huge!

But then again what else could you expect with an ass that big! XD

Can't wait until it hatches. Keep us updated!

:in whiny otherboard style:
those cages are too small!

in truth, those look like awesome setups. i really like the fact there is pretty much one place for them to cast the eggsac.  plus, you can fit like 10x as many spiders as in a 10g cage
Celeste

I know -- my female is in a 20 gallon tall aquarium...  (as was the male who just passed away this week).  :->

I had to change out the substrate in the right enclosure last week because of a mold issue.  I woke up today and she's gettin' busy Smile

WOW. your gonna be over run with all those regalis's.. congrats

All done!

Celeste

WOW!  Those sacs are *huge* compared to the Ts!

Best of luck with them!  I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!
noexcuse4you

I decided to pull the first sac today.  I've never really had a chance to see them develop before the eggs-with-legs stage so I thought I'd watch Smile.  With 211 eggs, I couldn't have asked for a more successful sac!

WBurke17

Wow... good job Kyle..
cacoseraph

why are they like, colorful?
WBurke17

He fed the mom sum acid, and now there like trippin colorfully......
He used photoshop to mark each egg as he counted them..
noexcuse4you

Nah, man!  I haven't you heard of the new P. regalis "Rainbow Brite Morph"?!
balam

is that like the "pink regalis" I've seen Laughing
cacoseraph

aahhhh, i see. heh.  i was trying to figure out a lighting scheme that could do that  and was not coming up with anything that made sense

very good Very Happy
Celeste

Dang!  211 eggs!!!

I want to know what you're feeding those gals?!  Fertility drugs???

Good luck with them, Kyle!
noexcuse4you
