January BBBQ!

Ok I have dates for the BBBQ!

Any weekend OTHER than the weekend of the 5th-6th.

So It is up to you people to choose what works best.

This will be held at my house in Aliso Viejo, I will post up the address closer to the actual event.

I do not know right now whether there will be a hike involved or not, but it really depends on the amount of interest everyone shows.

I would prefer a sunday but if you make it on a saturday let me know in advance the actual day so I can get it off.

I don't know who is looking for what, he might know himself. What i'm not sure, who is joining SCABIES? My understanding is what's in January, I have no idea about who, and when hasn't even been discussed, yet.

Actually, that's a very good way of doing it. It doesn't defeat the purpose at all! It actually helps.

I can  make any weekend, and don't have a preference over any, so I simply choose the last option.

Those that DO have a preference, may choose the weekend they desire!
In the end, you can see not only which weekend has the most popularity, but you can also tally up the number of people interested by adding the number of flexible people (option 4)


All that matters for determining the weekend of the party, is the first 3 choices.

Since I have no preference, and since I'm fine with all of them.....it makes no difference for me to vote for a particular weekend.

Make sense?

I will be out of the country after January 16th, but I would not be horribly offended if you decide to have the BBBQ after that date. However I will be planning a horrible revenge by offering our humble abode for the February BBBQ or the March BBQ or the April BBBQ or..... well, you get the point.

Usually Saturdays work better, most peeps dont really have a time restraint on Saturdays as opposed to Sundays.
So the Sat. has my vote!!!!!!!

yeah but the way my job goes it's mostly an emergency last minute thing. I very rarely even get a week notice. Thats why i missed the last hunt.

Either day should be ok with me. There's a possibility that my NAMBLA meeting may be that weekend, which I am hosting this month. It may be necessary to combine the SCABIES with the NAMBLA meeting which I assume is alright with Kevin.

btw you asked for the list it tends to be right next to the list of groups of people who get shot at the most.....

im at the moment fighting with my parents who are complete jackasses that i have to live with considering im underage still yet i go to adult school......but theys till wont let me go....so im thinking im going to go to my nina's houe that weekend then sneak over....btw where is it at? its sort of a dertimining factor as to if i can go or not?

i'm sure people are willing to let you carpool if your considerate and put in for gas. I'm already taking someone. YES MY CAR IS FIXED (kinda) Where do you live...  or your nina? I can probably help you out.

Like I said in the original post it will be at my house in Aliso Viejo and I will post the address about a week before the BBBQ. It is an easy drive from the 5 freeway to get to my house, I am off the El Toro exit in Laguna Hills(5 mins from the freeway).

If you are coming down the 405 freeway you can take the 133/Laguna Canyon exit and get to the same basic area just with less traffic.  Smile

It has come to my attention that some people voted for the any option before really considering the weekend and I have gotten a couple requests to move it back on week...

I am fine with that but I wanted to pose it to the group before just switching it.

I will supply hamburgers and cups for the drinks. I can also probably provide utensils.

That is probably a good idea...

I can supply burgers, utensils, and cups for drinks.

There will be an oven available if you need it to warm/finish cooking what you bring.

Also, some of you wont like this but oh well, my parents have decided that alcohol will not be allowed. I dont know the reasons, but I hope this doesnt affect anyone showing up.

Yes there is.  Just after the 405 becomes the 5 it's the 2nd or 3rd exit.  That's the way I'm going as well.

The exit off the 5 fwy for El Toro is a bit cryptic...

When you get off you will want to go straight off the exit, you will be on a street called Paseo de Valencia. Take that until it curves around to El Toro. You want to make a right at El Toro...

It says El Toro. Spanish for "The Toro."
