Hello All,
Don't have a VCR only cable but the basic one that can not record.

I am not much of an electronic gadjet collector

Can someone record it for us?

thanks

We're all so pitifully "technology-deficient"!  ;-)

hey, Steven is pretty tech savvy!!!

And andrew is SUPPOSED to be!!!

I don't see why this can't work.
cacoseraph

i don't even have a television at my house =P
Celeste

It's not that we're not "tech-savvy", apparently (I design interplanetary spacecraft for a living, for pete's sake!).  It's just funny and ironic that with all this tech know-how we don't seem to have a lot of electronic gadgets at home (besides our computers).   Maybe it's because we spend all our disposable income on BUGS!!!!!  (And in my case, reptiles, too...)   ;-)

(Or maybe it's because we're all too *intelligent* to actually waste time watching television???!)  ;->

I do have a television, but it is just for watching videos and DVDs on (and my son monopolizes it most of the time).  I've considered getting cable from time to time, but then I realize that I would never have time to watch it myself, and that it would just rot my son's brain, and I think "Naaawww...  Leave well enough alone."   :-)   He gets to watch TV at his dad's place one day a week, and that's more than enough!

Me JPL.  :-)

... at least for as long as we can stop them from implementing that HSPD12 nonsense.  (See www.hspd12jpl.org )

So is *anyone* actually going to tape this show tonight???

(Not that it's that critical or anything -- just wondering, as
I *would* be interested in seeing it).

NBond1986

oh, so about 5 minutes from my house.....

hmmm....i guess I'll be first in line when you have P. metallica babies Mr. Green
Celeste

Aren't there about a half-dozen scabies members breeding metallicas?

-- C
Ronin

I don't think anyone has a mature breeding pair right now.  In the future there should be that many.   Very Happy

I have a ~2.5" one myself that I'm thinking is male based on ventral shots (hasn't molted in my care yet).
ftorres

Hello All,

My friend Kennethsaid he will be recording the show.

Celeste, I love La Canada, If I had the mean I would buy 2 homes there.

Paul,
we will need all the males possible. Do you have any ventral pic of your P met?
I would love to see it.

OK Cool,
So what you guys think???

I would have love to see more of the inverts but those few were OK.

thanks to all that watched

francisco
Celeste

I hope somebody managed to tape it (or it is available online somewhere)!

And as for my metallicas, they are both very young still.  The female is probably just over 3" toe tip to toe tip when resting, and the male is much smaller (probably between 2"-2.5").  So it's going to be a while for mine...

ogershok

I checked YouTube and so far no one has added it. Durn.
Ronin

Dang, missed it too.  Hope someone will put it on the 'net/Youtube.

Francisco - I'll try to get a better pic of my P. met & place it on the ventral sexing thread on the TPS forum.
WBurke17

The T's or at least some of them where supplied by Chris (crazy8)

NICE!!!!

He handled himself very well, and spoke eloquently.

I really enjoyed that, and laughed a few times!
Celeste

How *fun*!!!  Which ones of those were yours, Francisco?

I can't fathom why he would have trouble meeting women...  That Elephant Roach in particular is a real "chick magnet"!   ;->

ftorres

Celeste,
mine were the rhino roach, the mantis, the last insect shown.

francisco
Celeste

So the "chick magnet" was *yours*, eh?  ;-D

Now that you say Rhino Roach I realize that was the correct name.  But I think he referred to it as an Elephant Roach on the show.

Do you have a pair?  Or just the one?  And is that one a male or female?

-- Celeste
NBond1986

Celeste,

The "elephant" was the beetle.

The Rhino roach I recognized.....because Francisco brought them to my HOUSE!!!

I've had a celebrity in my home Mr. Green
ftorres

Hello Celeste,

The elephant beetle, I do have a pair.

Actually the rhino roach is know in Australia as the Litter bug, Macropanesthis rhinoceros is in fact the heavist roach in the world.

I have male and female, the one in the show was the male.

I have about 7 more smaller nymphs that are about 4-5 years old, and I recently got some babies from a roach dealer, that are about 3-4 months old.

regards

francisco
Celeste

Ooo, ooo, ooo!!!  That is so *cool* that you have those!!!

Please keep me in mind if you ever decide to part with any of them or their offspring!  :->

(Guess I'm gonna have to be nice to you from now on, huh?)  ;-)
