Lycosidae - Ocotillo (near Anza-Borrego)I caught this gal on the outskirts of Anza-Borrego today. She's a decent size at a little over 2". These guys make burrows similar to Ts, but they're usually always accompanied by a pile of dirt around the burrow entrance and don't have the "hymen" webbing.

This little girl molted sometime while I was gone and is looking SWEEEEET! She's got red all over her carapace and abdomen. I'll bring her to the BBQ tomorrow.

She's *GORGEOUS*, Kyle!!! I love that Genus. I just can't get over those faces! :-) Jumping spiders are still my favorites, but these guys are my second favorites of the true spiders.
