Is a shame I dont have a female.

Good looking specimen Francisco. Sure would have loved to know you had a female Wink.
I'm sure there are a couple of people in the forum who may have a female at hand or in the near future.
Let's hope so,

How much would a female cost? Maybe if I make enough from the GBB's I can afford a female. I read that they are easy to breed, but they don't produce a lot of babies.

EDIT:

"This tarantula has a low reproductive rate maxing out at 50 offspring per sac(don't worry about the market falling out on this species) However this species is not difficult to breed and to top it off, itīs Communal in nature."

Hello Nick,
If you can find an adult female she will probably be around 500- 600 dollars

Great looking dude Francisco.  Let's find a female for him when the time is right.  That & the P. ultramarinus are my must haves one day.

Well if the sac is large from the GBB, that is what I was going to pay for some P. metallica, but I think these would be a little bit more worth it.

I'll keep my eye out for one...

Does somebody have one already? =D

I still am seriously thinking about getting one regardless though..

h-frk... you would probably only have to move 20-30 GBB spiderlings to have enough scratch for a 500-600 dollar female

the real problem i foresee is finding someone willing to sell an adult female, as more and more MM are going to be surfacing as the slings and subadults ppl bought mature

Yeah I did the math, I didn't realize how much $ was in the GBB sac untill right now.

But yes I do see finding a female being a problem, although Francisco's male does have a little bit of time before maturing. So hopefully I can find one before. I'll be looking! I'll have Chase check the AB classifieds for me every now and then being I don't have an account.
