i thought this post was for a scabies arachnid calendar that was comming out.... now i see its just dates for upcomming events.

a scabies calendar wouldnt be a bad idea tho.

we have tossed around a few ideas like that
i don't think we have metioned a cal but maybe a coffee table book

the consensus so far seems to be that they are good ideas but we want to do mostly local species and we need more pics and more like, data for whatever we want to make

we are geting there though! people like what, pulk, and steven have put up some awesome pics of some really cool local species

the cal is actually a really neat idea. we could have an "excuse" to make a new one every year. it would let us show the 12 best/favorite/coolest pics from the previous year
dang, i am getting to really like that idea man!

when you say 'local' do you mean just california natives or north american in general??

If you want to use the calendar on SF I can give you access I usually only post up SCABIES events there anyways.

Any one that has a bday on that month is also up...I need to disable that.

Hey Andrew when I was doing some admin things and where i ran across the quick reply, there was some type of upgrade to a newer version, dont know if it has anymore features or not but it might be something to look into...
that calander on eddys site is cool.. maybe time to look into something more official.

we need to get a hard copy (well, CD copy) of the forum database before we mess around with upgrading ANYTHING

i would probably quit posting for over a year if the forum got upgrade frogged and we lost all the data on here now. i truly can not stand to do rework like that
