So I have noticed that some of the wild caught Polymorpha that I have have a bunch of mites...how in the hell do I get rid of these little bastards?
cacoseraph
i made a mixture that worked pretty well
only problem is i can't remember what i used
it went something like this:
90% water
6% lemon juice
3% rubbing alcohol (70%)
1% / just a dab of dish soap
the lemon juice and alcohol are your kill mechanisms
the dish soap eliminates surface tension effect of water
CAREFULLY brush onto affected spots of centipede... DO NOT GET POISON INTO SPIRACLES ON SIDES OF SCOLOPENDROMORPHA CENTIPEDES!!!!
and as i said, that is not necesarily the exact recipe i used before. close but maybe not exact. when i applied it i used barely any! the brush was in NO WAY sopping... it was like, damp, only!
also, don't apply poison in pede's normal living cage... set up a tarantula style icu so that you don't give all the living cage's substrate a low grade level of poison
this would be considered moderately experimental treatment
