Molt PreservationWell a friend with a pet Tarantula handed me a molt today and I was wondering how to preserve it. It is pretty dried up so I am planning to relax it before spreading it out.
The type of tarantula was something along to lines of a Panamanian Blonde. I not not a T expert nor is he so I'll post pictures of the molt when I can so it it properly identified along with sex of the T.

I moisten them by putting them in a tupperware container with a wet paper towel. Then I pin them out like this and let them dry. You can display them in a riker box.

Mucho thanko. That's the ultimate molt of the B. auratum that went to Kyle and then I think Francisco ended up with it. I don't think it ever did the successful deed though.
