it is so nice looking my first thought wasn't even what kind of feeder it would make. that was my second thought =P

yeah, they did it for a total of probably about 16 hours (split up)

I would've never been able to tell the difference between that and a robber fly either.

it's possible they need ventilation more than other bugs. they both died on the same day, which was the one day the air holes were covered.

it's impossible to find the eggs (they were deposited in the substrate), and it looks like there's a decent chance the larvae are burrowers (eating other burrowing larvae)... any ideas on how to deal with this, other than watering and feeding soil for months to find out if anything is alive?
