New rescueThis weekend one of the local neighborhood kids had a puppy that they had to get rid of and the parents told them to ust leave it on the street if they had to. Nice people huh.
So now we cant agree on what to name this lil fella so the wife kids and I have deceided to try to get as many suggestions as we can and then we each take the 2 that we like the most and then draw a name.
So heres are some pics of this lil guy and throw me some names.

Wow that's 1 cute puppy! The only thing that comes to mind is über corny...
...wait for it...
...Lucky? Lucky that if he had to be abandoned (hope whoever abandoned him gets what they deserve) he was at least dropped somewhere that he'll be taken care of and loved by a nice family.

How about "Mooch" or "Mickey" or "Smurf" or "Diego" or "Buster" or "Ragamuffin" or "Bosco" or "Chico" or "Pye" (as in "Cutie pie") or "Dawg"?
You should report the neighbors if they have an unspayed female dog and are dumping puppies... Besides being just plain immoral, it is illegal as well. (As someone who did Dachshund Rescue for several years, and still managed to wind up with two more dogs from the shelter last year, I'm kind of over the top on irresponsible pet owners...)

He is just too cute. I'm so glad you guys could take him in. How could anyone abandon something that adorable? Karma will get them. Hey, you could call him Karma too!

Anyhow, cute pup. I have worked in the pet industry years ago and you can not believe the stuff people do or will do.
I am glad you have a big heart for such a cute little guy.

word of advicenever name a pet anything you can't walk around the block calling at the top of your lungs.
usually something comes out as you learn thier personality.
about three years ago, we rescued a very sick, very larged footed puppy. i had an older staff terrier, and two cats. we needed a name that was tied to a personality that was smart, strong yet gentle with cats.
we knew a man that defected from russia, he was a rocket scientist, he smuggled his cat out of russia. when he got here he worked as a security guard in a museum. he was a very nice man. so we named our dog after him.

I agree with BugMom's idea of calling him Karma but since he kinda looks like the Taco bell dog i think Taco would suit him well too hehe.
