By the way did you check the other picstures too?

I love the one with the longest Phasmid, that is a nice phasmid.
I want some.
Celeste

I was going to comment on how cute those snakes are, but I think I'll stay out of this thread...
balam

see, if we lose Celeste it means we  have no decency. Sad
rosenkrieger

I want one. ::lol:: Can you imagine how tiny the eggs would be O_o
cacoseraph

the only reason for that being near as small as possible is that the snake couldn't eat the kind of invert larva it does if it was smaller... but what about a snake from the same genus that evolved in an area with extra tiny bug larva?

awesome article
balam

adaptations man. Snakes are apparently one of the most specialized group of reptiles Smile
cacoseraph

i'll say!

have you seen the snake that is so specialized to eat snails with a right-hand-spiral that it takes 2-4x as long to eat LH-spiral snails... and sometimes just plain can't use its normal trick to eat them at all!  the snake has an asymetrical head, including different teeth and jaw development!
