Hey, I had a great time at our last BBBQ! Just thinking ahead - are there are any tentative plans for when and where the next BBBQ will be and when?

I hope it is a weekend I can make attend.

Didn't Rakie say something about hosting the next BBBQ?

Yeah, Im not sure when everybody is up to it, but I was figuring sometime in September ? Seems to happen every two months or so.

My backyard is pretty large, and I have a large back space thats concrete with a roof, and a large grass area.

Just get me some advanced notice and im good !

Any weekend EXCEPT the 6th/7th -- that is the North American Reptile Breeders Convention (www.narbc.com) in Anaheim, and everyone will be there selling bugs (krazy8sinvertebrates, crazydavesinverts, kenthebugguy, and Francisco).

In fact, you should be there, too, *BUYING* bugs! ;-)

Rakie, Its really up to you throw some dates out there that work for you and then everybody else tries to tailor there schedules to the date.
the only dates that I can see a problem w/ would be the weekend of Aug 30/31 Labor day weekend and as Celeste stated Sept 6/7. Anaheim show..

WELL, for those who chimed in here at least.

Im not sure what month you will be in Virginia, I am assuming September.

So, here are some possible dates.

August 24 (Sunday)
Sept 12-14 (Fri / Sat / Sun)
Sept 19-21 (Fri / Sat / Sun)
Sept 26-28 (Fri / Sat / Sun)

All those weekends are fine for me, The last week of Sept seems to solve most of the problems haha, unfortunately it'll be a long wait ! hehe.

Alright, well August seems soon to have an event, meaning nobody will have money to buy stuffis.

And the mid / end of september is lame... Which is awesome, more money to throw around for everybody, etc etc.

So i'll update the list. I think these dates would be great, not just for me but for the club in general.

Sept 12-14 (Fri / Sat / Sun)
Sept 19-21 (Fri / Sat / Sun)
Sept 26-28 (Fri / Sat / Sun)

I like the second set of dates because the 21st is my B-day so I'll already be taking the weekend off of work. Hopefully I can make it either way.

Final date set yet? I was thinkin if its the 20th I might be able to get there. I always figure this stuff out last minute anyway ...I want to make it this time though. Been so busy and worn out..need some dorkin round w/bugs & buggy people quality time damn soon.
