Hello Wayne,
As far as I know the APHIS regualtion applies to inverts in the classroom
on wich it says that the Madagascar roach (Hissers) need to have a permit to keep.

But I have never seen a pet shop being sited or warned for having feeder roaches for sale.

It is illegal also to send roaches or move roaches from State line to State line but this has not being enforce as far as I know.

So lets just play it by ear.

There are a lot of pet shops that sell exotic roaches in CA. That doesn't mean much though, as I just found out a salamander I purchased from a pet shop a year ago is illegal in CA, yet they still sell them...
Anyways if you find out for sure please let us know. I've had to deal with the USDA once and I certainly don't want to go through that again...  Confused

well, you need permits to ship across state lines

james from blaberus.com could shed some light

or we could search for his posts and not bug him =P

Dexter or Debbie at Double D's might be able to help too. They've been selling roaches for a long time.
