Nov BBBQ Carpool Rides

Well, it looks like the BBBQ is definitely on a day I can make it. So...

Anyone interested in car pooling from OC to save on gas $$$? I don't mind driving or pitching in for gas. If I drive, I promise to vacuum the dog hair from the back seat! Shocked

Maybe we could start several car pool groups ahead of time. Just think, the more you save on gas $$, the more money you can spend on SCABIES raffle tickets!! Wink

Great thread idea Jules!  I live in Long Beach and would be up for joining somebody's carpool.  Happy to pitch in for gas too of course Smile

I usually drive my 2-seater around but I have a "grocery-getter" car that I can use if anyone needs a ride. I can fit 3 more people.

I live in Chino Hills.

No need to pay for gas as long as you get to my place or I can pick you up along the way.  Very Happy  Very Happy  Very Happy

Anyhow, Denise and I would not have any problems taking people the rest of the way if you get to our place in Chino Hills or if you are along the 71-91-15 route.

Anyhow, WE will give anyone a ride if need be. No gas money necessary but if you can offer a sling (especially curlyhairs) that is always appreicated. j/k Very Happy

I LOVE  love4  my 2-seater  iroc  but it's 17 years old so I'd rather not drive that far.  I'm not sure if Long Beach is on the way for anybody?

Adam you can always take a short drive to somebodys house and then carpool from there.

If I go, I suppose I could volunteer my car.  It's a Ford Focus and it seats four, including the driver.  As soon as a date is decided, I could verify within a day or two if I will be available.

Hey adam,
I live in downey off the 5 and 605 fwy. I also have 710 close by so we can meet at my place and carpool to the BBBQ, the same goes for Eddy,Ron??? or anyone else close by that would like to carpool.
I can sit 3 in my truck, 4 if I need to.

I plan to stay all the way to the end so plan on it.

So far it looks like I'll be going, but I won't stay for long since UFC 91 is on the same night.  If anyone in OC is willing to get to the site of the BBQ by around 12:00, or so, and leave around 4:30, I'd be happy to drive.

My wife is coming along, so I'm down to two available seats in case anyone wants to carpool.  Again, I'll be leaving from the BBQ around 4:30ish.

Departing from Santa Ana around 9:45-10:00.

Hey Gomer,

Can I carpool along with you and your wife? I had wanted to possibly stay longer to hunt if anyone else was going but nobody else will be home to let my dogs out. So, it looks like a short day is better for me this time anyway. Let me know.

Coming from Eagle Rock/Glendale/Pasadena area ...anybody still need a ride?  Not sure what route to take...will be checking the gps traffic thingy before deciding.
