That's my buddy's dog. His name is Mowgli and he's a total space cadet. Beautiful, but truly "special" if you get my drift. He doesn't have more than six brain cells. My buddy has his dogs trained to howl on command. He'll do a Bela Lugosi impression saying, "Leesen to them . . . Cheeldren of the night . . . what music they make . . . " And then he'll cue the dogs to howl. It's freakin' hilarious. That's the only pic I have. I got tired of the Olsen Twins but I have sooo many pics to use for avatars that I'll never get through them all. I just realized that when I change my avatar again this post will not make any sense.

That is too funny! That's exactly why I don't think I'd have a Golden! It seems to be the rule rather than the exception! Actually some of the top obedience competitors have Golden's so I know there are still some lines that are very intelligent and have a great work eithic. However, most Golden's I see out in the general public seem to be more closely related to Mowgli. He is a very pretty boy though and I bet his tail works overtime!

Ironically, that picture was taken right after Jack got Mowgli. He wasn't in very good condition at the time. You should see him now! He looks like a dog that could walk away with a ribbon at a high-end show. Mowgli lives for treats. Any type. Milkbone or brocolli, it doesn't matter. When Jack goes to the refrigerator and takes out a vial of vaccine, Mowgli knows he is going to get a shot. He also knows that means a treat afterwards. Mowgli will run into the bedroom and flop onto the bed awaiting his shot with the same enthusiasm that a kid has for Christmas. Geeze . . .
