I'm hoping its not fake, looks like its in a real newspaper in the UK, not some National Enquirer "type" of paper.

There have been many times the media sends out fake info/pics or false info out there. It really sucks cause people think its true and they hand off the info. Kind of like the guy in Coarsegold who told me he read on Yahoo news about a 4 foot long stick bug Rolling Eyes He was very sure of himself too. I didn't tell him I read the article and the bug was 22" Laughing The next time he tells about it the bug will be 6ft.

I don't think it's fake because the webs of golden orb weavers have been used for fishing nets.

Although the bird does look like it would snap the web in this case doesn't it? But like I said. We'll see on this one.
