Steven

Plant from "the wilds"

I think I know what kind of plant (family) this is, but my mind now is blank.  I dont think its a succulent, but I have seen them in succulent/cactus/desert gardening books ...jeesh... we have a big version (I think they are close anyway) in our yard.
EDIT: duh... ones in my yard are Agave and I THINK these little ones are agave or closely related.

Well anyway... Ive been wanting to collect these little crack in the cliff dwellers for some time.  I tried once before, but either it needed more love and care and/or I didnt get enough root mass when collecting it.

Andrew... remember when u caught the scorp in the dirt cliff (fishing style)?  I collected these at the same time.. right there next to those "scorp holes".
I have been babying these.  They went from looking completely dead to this and it took this much time.  But  Cool  I think they are stable ..and hoping they will give me some shoots for future landscaping.  (perfect for cracks in walls, between boulders and whatnot Wink )

well, if they are Agave.....then at least you can make your own tequila out of them.

i think it requires "blue" agave though.
What

Steven those are definitely succulents. Probably some type of yucca.
