pseudomyrmex

hey, anyone here ever see or try to keep pseudomyrmex or odontomachus by chance?? ive tried a few times with fair results. i really want to try the pseudomyrmex apache again. however, i do not know where to find them in arizona, just in cali.

from what i know alot of psedusomyrmex live in branches and twigs, not sure how i would keep them in captivity, where exactly in California did you find this.

they are found through most of southern california. they are found on manzanita where you are. i have found them on several occasions. actually, on my trip just a few days ago, i got a whole colony with 2 queens. very cool. if you do enough research online, you can find info on how to care for them. specifically colleges that do work with this stuff.

do you know what part of souther california did you find them in? example laguna wilderness park.

i found them west of pine valley along side the I-8 on a manzanita bush. look in the mid elevations, 2000 to 3000 ft in elevation. they like the manzanita that has the half dead branches. good luck man.
