Pseudouroctonus williamsi - Trabuco Creek (Holy Jim Canyon)Eddy and I went hiking out in Holy Jim Canyon along Trabuco Creek in Orange County on Sunday and when we flipped a rock this is what we found. Pseudouroctonus williamsi! Curious little guy but alot of fun.

woooo!!! nice find my friend!!! have never seen them with the cool orange/red claws! that is cool!!! how big is it???
now go back and look for small crescent shaped burrows just like A. pococki and dig em up. the burrows cork screw and go down for friggin ever. youll have lots of fun! does that anomal do that crazy boxing thing with its claws like A. pococki??

It doesnt do the boxing thing...::lol::...it just runs like crazy and tries to sting...::lol::. They are so funny. It is about 2" long total. I would like to try and find some more but with all of the rocks we flipped we didnt find anymore.

eh it's funny it took the two of us two flip that thing and Robert was all like "SCORPION!!!MINE!!!" eh...I tried to find more. Even lifting the heaviest rock there(and the small "Robert size" ones too ). Maybe I'll have better luck blacklighting.
