Critter Club July 11: Slime and Scales!
3-5 year olds, this club is for you! Come celebrate the slimy and the scaly
critters that call the Discovery Center home and their cousins from around
the world. We'll tell stories, play games, and make a scaly craft to take
home.

Further informal details:
In addition to what¹s written above, we will have live animal presentations,
and educators on hand to share knowledge about the relationship between
reptiles and dinosaurs. We will meet our Museum collections managers who
will talk about how they preserve and catalogue specimens, and even give a
special limited-attendance tour of the herpetology lab. We will have a
special reptilian story time, performance artists, and plenty of exciting
photo ops. IN addition to our own collections, the CHA and CTTS will be
sharing with us their knowledge and collections from around the world. We
are expecting such animal visitors as a duo of American Alligators, a 13
foot Python, all of California's native rattlesnakes, Indian cobras, poison
arrow frogs and more!
