Red Rock Canyon, NVDuring a couple of trips out to Vegas, I went to Red Rock Canyon. I took pics of the wildlife I saw while out there... all two critters.
While walking around off a trail, this little red-spotted toad (Bufo punctatus) was hopping around.
Here's a chuckwalla (Sauromalus ater). I got to within about 15 feet from it and then it hid under a rock. It looked to be about 2 1/2 feet long.
