Rhino roach Adults and some 6 year oldsHello All,
The gang was out and about so I feed them some greens and cheerios as treats.
The smaller ones I raised since babies, about 6 years ago.
Wow I am getting old!!!!!

HEllo All,
Sorry Warren, I did not explained myself.
This female fresh molted and now she is dark as the others.
It is funny to see that this specie will molt and be orange in color as for some of the other roaches species like G portentosa (hissers) will molt and stay white for some time until their exo gets hard.
So no Warren they don't stay Orange.

dude... i just had a freaking GREAT idea!
we need to take those pics of the orange roach and built an internet rumor that it is a mutant roach recovered from Chernobyl or something like that!

I agree, I love the fact that look like walking flat pumkins.
She is now full grown and 4 inches or so.
Andrew, that is a cool idea.
Did you get to see Ron's (BC Star)book on insect drawings that were collected near Chernobyl ?
It had some interested drawings of bugs and plants and the effect of Radiation on them.
I will see if he brings it to the BBBQ
