Semi-Official Glenvill camp out/hunt threadAs some of you may know, Chase, myself and a few of our number have been planing a over night camp out/hunt at my grandparent's property in Glenville, north of Bakersfield. I just wanted to start the official thread because I got the O.K. and camp sight planed out today and figured we should start putting tings down om virtual paper..

What I need to know:
WHEN- what date works for you guys? it will most likely be a Friday-Saturday or Saturday-Sunday thing. also the date.
WHO- head count please!! (once we pick the date that works for most.)
WHAT- is every one ringing? : food, gear, cars, etc (the least amount of cars the better)
I already have the where.

--ITEMS TO BRING--
-Tents (duh)
-sleeping bags/blankets
-PORT-A-POTTY ( I may have one we can use but its not a for sure thing yet)
-FOOD (any thing that can me grilled or cooked over an open fire)
-walking sticks/snake hooks
-camping chairs
-collection containors
--ITEMS NOT TO BRING--
-please no alcohol
-drugs( sort of a duh, but knowing this group..)
-Young children (at least on the hikes, I don't want to play baby sitter)
-profane language (sorry guys, grandpa is a youth minister, be polite)
-Bad attitudes..

I can answer most of your questions on this. If I can't, I will fined out A.S.A.P.
Directions will be posted when I have a better idea of who's coming and when.

Alternatively, instead of directions, we can just meet at my house or Britni's and carpool to the site

Ok guys we really need to decide on a date here soon. Its getting pretty cold up there at night so the sooner the better.

For any of you that are still interested in going camping, we need to do it this up coming weekend, Halloween weekend or in early november. My Drivers test and birthday are both on the weekend of the 23rd and 24th (feel free to send gifts ::lol::) so please, give input here... its starting to get to cold up there..

I may be mistaken, but I have to say that the weather at this moment is probably not the best to have such a trip. Maybe spring would be better for a Herp/Bug hunt.
