SFBATS October (yet to be named) Meeting--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The meeting date will be on October 11th from 11-4.
This will be our last big one until the January meeting. Let's make this one HUGE and invite alot of people to share in our fun.

I can indeed get friday off but I decided to sit this one out. My brother is pretty sick so I'm baby sitting friday night and all sunday.

Hello All,
OK after a lot of convincing my second half (The best one) OK me to attend the SFBATS meeting.
I figure I go and represent as I read the media will be there covering the event ???
Warren is in the process of letting me know if he wants to tag along, it will be nice for other SCABIES Supermods or Mods to attend so we can represent the group better, new members and excisting members can also go.
Well I will be leaving Saturday around 3:30 AM, as the drive is about 6 hours.
the meeting is from 11 am to 4 Pm, so after the meeting we can go to Ken the bug guy house and kickback and the comeback around 6 PM to arrive to LA around 1 am.
I have room for 2 more, we would have to meet at Warren's house if he is going if not, we will meet at my house.

It was great to see the "Cisco Kid" again! I just wish more scabies members could have attended but I know its a long trip and I hope to see you guys again soon. Maybe we can come down to one of your gatherings. ABC News was there and interviewed a lot of people on camera during the 2 hours or so they were there. Francisco showed them how to sex Emperor scorpions while I held them up. We had hissing cockroach races and they filmed that too. I brought my albino retic and Robert from insectgeeks.com carried her around for an hour. She ate 4 lg rats on Wednesday so I figured she would be OK. About 9 that night the house started smelling fishy. Uh Oh. Yep she regurged all 4 partially digested rats all over the heating pad. Ohhh God!! Does that ever stink! I barely kept my enchiladas down while I cleaned up the putrid mess....I guess its OK to hadle a smaller snake 24 hrs after they've eaten a mouse but not OK for a 10 ft python with a lg meal inside her. I'll give her a few more days next time....

It was nice to see you again Francisco!! I enjoyed talking to everyone and showing off my bugs. Sorry about your snake John. That sounds pretty awful. I was going to bring my ball python but she's pretty shy still. Maybe next time :-)
I love my new spidys. I'm going to make a new spider enclosure. I'll be sure to post pics when it's done
