This guy is REALLY well known for his bugs. And he's involved in a lot of movies.
Do you guys remember the honey bee guy from the bug shows? The guy with the honey tasting samples? Bruce.
Well, he's friends with Steven Kutcher, and has offered to introduce us in some form or another.
Perhaps we can invite him to my November BBBQ?????
(JUST an idea.....don't know if it's possible on his end)

well then.....in that case, I think it's only fitting that you have a fancier name than just "General Operations Director"

sometimes simpler is better. one day you will realize how appropriate it is that i annointed myself Gen. Op. Dir.

Well I e-mailed him, Heres a copy of what i wrote him (let's just say I hate composing letters) but it's the best i could do
"Hello Mr. Kutcher,
I happened across your web-page while doing a google search and was quite impressed with your body of work.
Let me give you some of our background, we are a group of So.Cal enthusists that are primarely into arachnads and the conservation of them. A numbers of us are Helping Brent E. Hendrixson, Ph.D. Department of Biology East Carolina University in collecting specimens so he can try to fix the mess that the U.S. tarantulas are in, in regards to there taxonomy.
I was wondering if you would like to check it out and possibly contribute to it, we would truly appreceiate it.
Our website is http://scabies.myfreeforum.org/index.php
Thank you, Warren Burke"
Lets see if we get a response from him.....W

Talk about someone who has a lot to share with us. Hope he responds as I'm sure we would love to absorb some of the knowledge he has gained.

Well he just E-mailed me back and wrote this, don't know if he's gonna join or not? But i am interested in these other guys he spoke of.
HI Warren,
I assume you know Wendel, Tom Prentice, Blain, Mike Martinez all
arachnologists.
I have noticed great declines in tarantulas due to construction in
their
habitat. in the thousand oaks area.
I checked out the web site.
thanks,
Steven R Kutcher.
