T. blondi molting picsMy blondis have began to molt, it is amazing!
So far 4 of my 9 have molted.

nice going Matt. AFAIK tons of T. blondi die in captivity during the molting process, humidity related I guess.
Hey, did you know they set a mat of their own setae on the molting web prior to molting? In the wild it helps deter the little parasitic flies (I forget their sp.) that use them as hosts.

Yup 9, they are def my faves now.. I hope to breed next year, or maybe this year if one of my last two males molts out MM.

HEllo Matt,
I have a mature male ready to go.
He was supposed to be a T apophysis but turned out to be a regular T blondi

Hey there Francisco!!! I wont be at the BBQ unfortunately, its just too far... I am not even sure if any of my females are ready, except maybe one thats about to molt, she may be large & old enough. The others are only around 6-7 inches... I do want to breed them so badly, but I will let you look them over if you get time to come by sometime and tell me what you think..
