The OFFICIAL Cacoseraph going away party announcment thread!Ding Doing! the Grey Witch is Going! Come celebrate or be sad, either way...party hardy! 
Event Type: Basic party. No laser show. Place: 2352 Norwalk Ave LA, CA 90041 Date: April 4th (Next Sat!!) Time: Most likely a later event ...itsa party. Nope...we have not declared an official start time ..yet. ...contribute yer thoughts/opinions ...please. BBQ will be available. Cleared out living room for bug display or whatever(though I DO need to light the darned room... JUST thought about that ...guess ill come up with something.) I will have some booze around. Bring your own poison if you're picky or plan on breaking drinking records. Parking: OK.. street parking gets tough(ish) around here. Guests may end up parking one or few blocks away. ...it is a relatively safe n'secure neighborhood. Please mind driveways ...itsa problem around here...people slightly (or greater) blocking driveways ...I hate that behavior...so Id rather not be the cause of it. Kids: Keep in mind that this is a party for adults and adult like behavior ...no...probably nothing crazy ...just feel I need to say it. Also.. empty pool and lotsa semi dangerous tripability, cactus etc... Mammals: I prefer no dogs/cats/ferrets/ ..so on. I have rats...they'r my buds.. anyway... Id go ballistic and the party would end on an EXTREMELY bad note and we dont want that. TV/movies: Largish screen TV & lotsa movies ...for pacification OR entertainment purposes ... So! Be square or be square... either way...ya may as well do it with beer in hand at the CACOSERAPH GOING AWAY PARTY!!

Ok..Andrew...heres my plan for earlier that day. I will head out to pick u up sometime in the late morn (or later ...we will discuss). I will be packing a wheelbarrow or better yet a dolly..we will head over to the "burned lands" and quickly fetch those huge chunks of burned wood I so much wanted to take but couldnt because they were to darn heavy. Quick smash n'grab sort of operation...then we will head over to my house. I suppose there will be a few things left to do...but overall I should have the place cleared, clean n'safe...ready to party. !! 
Major work today ...had to move a bunch of cinder block and piles of dirt ...almost done with that...fire pit diggin' will be next. |

BTW! I have been pushing a later time/party like event ...BUT, if we will be losing people because of the time or whatever...i wanna know. I thought/think it would be cool to have a different type of shindig, but this aint about me ...this is about as many scabies people as possible getting together to help shave Andrews head after he passes out ...thats the priority here... so, lets not deviate from that goal. Ya all, please tell me what ya think? Andrew? Warren? everyone else? ..

Sounds good. I'm gonna be there one way or another. one of my wifes good friend passed away this week and there having the wake on Sat. so i'm gonna try to pawn the kids off on family members....
I'll bring the GHB to put in Andrews drink and the hair clippers... or should we use a straight razor for a closer cleaner shave???? later in hte afternoon sounds like a good time.. |

If I go down to pick up andrew.... which right now IS the plan, but I suppose that could change... when we get back in town we could slip by your place..pick yer arse up. Gettin back home... maybe i could drive you..depends.. i want to be able to drink with you guys and for the first time NOT have to get in my car ... We'll figure it out. 
Ok thats 2 votes for later afternoon. A little daylight is cool ...then the dark is even better.
EATS ...what shall we say?... same thing as the norm bbqs ...everyone brings some food? Damn... cant use Sarena's costco card without her present ...thats where I got those beautiful salmon. Be nice to have a big fishy again!

Official start time: Anytime between 4pm and 4am. There will be flatrock scorp mating outside in their "natural" habitat. The fire pit will be finished. It will have a separate BBQ side pit ...hopefully ill be able to test it friday. Weber Q will be there on standby Dont do pizza! well unlesss thats what you guys really want. (best in this city is just down Colorado street...Casa Bianca Pizza Pie ) But...bring some burger meat or something ...live life to the fullest!

BTW ...besides roaches I do have another specific "bug need" ...anybody have Dolomedes for sale? Francisco? OH.... if anyone wants to set up a table ...I have one large one for sure and probably other tables and/or other make-shift means. BUT... there will be nil to few chairs in the living room where the tables will be(if they be). Im gathering up what I can ...i just have no idea if we'll end up with 6 people or 20 ...more?(doubt it..but ..) If you have a folding/camping chair that EASY for you to bring ...theres a chance you may use it. ANDREW ...illl try and get a hold of u today ...to figure out stuff. Feel free to try the same this way. |

Nice little headache today, but overall ready for another party.
Kevin, gotta tell ya man.. I never would have guessed you could dance so sexy. ...thanks for filling in and allowing the dream of the Pede n'Pony Show to be fully realized. Scared a few people away..freaked em out, but i think most, though a bit irked by what they were witnessing, really appreciated your sincere efforts and vision. 
And a super hunt today! ...side tracked when bringing Andrew back home. In fact Andrew ran into a small colony of the desert roaches he has been searching for ..from what I understand for quite some time since he caught one confirming their presence in the "wastelands" area. No adults but 2 large subs and a bunch of nymphs. I got em ..now just gotta get them to grow. And I caught a beautiful stripeless S.polymorpha ...nice rich color and fairly hefty. !! ...something ive been wishing to run into.

THANKS all for coming, having a good time AND for the fact that I was able to clean up in a zombie like state after everyone left or crashed ...seriously was able to spiffy up things in like a half hour...completely toasted, roasted and beyond dead tired. .. I know that sounds silly, but some parties ive been involved with...jeeeeese people can be pigs!
Overall, fire under my ass that pushed me to clean up and deal with a bunch of materials just sitting around going to hell...wasting money and pissing me off. I needed that secondary benefit. ! Mystery spider cup left on the table in the front room ...a kuk and she doest seem to know much either. ?? |

i had so much fun at the party
it was good to meet some ppl for the3 first time and see everyone i already knew again liz gave me this awesome book on mushrooms.... now hopefully i can see a death cup in nature (also, the book convinced me, based on how often i am wrong on bug IDs, that i will never eat mushrooms i find myself!)
