My centipedes obviously know i am about to move... i have had a Blue ring legs (Ethmostigmus sp.) on eggs for almost a month now and just last night found a Scolopendra polymorpha on eggs. this is the second year that this particular female has dropped eggs for me. No remating between. Can't recall if i noticed her shedding or not.

the bluerings are last level nymphs and the polys are 1i!
and i dropped an ivory roach (just molted lobster hehehe) that was partially headsmashed into the poly container... it was.... SOOOOOO awesome! the babies mobbed it! it was running around dragging at least one baby for like 10-15 minutes! the babies would start sensor sweeping (bouncing head up and down through ~15-20 degrees of arc while furiously waggling their antenna while the antenna are held more or less straight out) when the roachy got within about a baby bodylength.
oh man... it was so so so so cool. i tried another ivory a few days later but it was not nearly as dramatic.... i think the first meal was the best time to do it. also mamma was surfaced the second time and ended up handling the roach for the babies after like 3-4 mins. she was still in her brooding chamber the first time so it was all the babies
